Management Team Purchases Cuddy Farms Corporation

Effective today, December 1, 2008, the senior management group of John Flaherty, Scott Chambers, Doug Hill, John Cameron, Peggy Foster and Lori Henderson have acquired the business of Cuddy Farms Corporation.  The new company name will be changed from Cuddy Farms Corporation to Cuddy Farms Limited 2008 in keeping with the highly recognized Cuddy Farm’s name in the turkey industry. There will be no fundamental changes to the business.

During the last 2 years since Mr. A.M. Cuddy passed away, there has been a lot of speculation as to the future of the company. Over the 59 years of operation under the Cuddy family, Cuddy Farms became a dominant player in the world turkey market and the acquisition by the management group further demonstrates the commitment of our long standing employees to our customers and the collective industry worldwide in developing the best genetics that the primary breeders have to offer.

The management team is dedicated to the long term success of the business and look forward to continuing to grow the business throughout our worldwide customer and distribution base. We are grateful to be able to offer continued employment to all our employees and look forward to continuing to supply our customers with high quality turkey eggs and poults.
